As a seasoned and caring early childhood/elementary educator with 20-plus years of experience, I believe that the early school years have the most marvel and magic for children.
As Chief Storyteller at Storybox Tales, my mission is to provide support to parents, teachers, and others who share my passion for nurturing our youngest readers. Combining my experience in many facets of education –including the Montessori method, my background in special education, and working with children with various skill sets – I have developed a hands-on, multi-sensory approach to learning that is the foundation on which Storybox Tales is built.
A little bit more about me: I am a New Jersey Certified Elementary School Teacher K -5. I earned my Masters in Education from Farleigh Dickinson University and hold a B.S. in Education/B.A. in Communications from Adelphi University. In addition to teaching, I am an active advocate for children with special needs.
My husband and I are the proud parents of a college-age son and live in Morris County, NJ.
